  • Reply to any rating

Answer every rating, with AI help to draft it if you like. You can't edit, hide or remove a rating.

  • Tickets for real sales

Give a customer a ticket with a sale, so they can rate you later.

Ratings never decide what you can join. Brand coupon deals look at your completed dealings and your profile, never your ratings.

A Reputation Badge that shows what's true

Businesses and creators on Swomi carry a Reputation Badge. It shows who they are, what they've done and what real customers say. If something isn't there yet, it says so in words, like "new" or "nothing completed yet". It's earned, never bought, and it doesn't unlock or block anything.

What the Badge shows

Each Badge starts with the name the business or creator trades under. Beside it, a ring shows three things that Swomi measures and the subject can't type in: the dealings it has completed, how complete its profile is, and what customers said. Each check it has passed shows only once it's done, and where a part is still empty, the Badge says so in words, since a blank could look like a clean record.

What it has done
Dealings Swomi saw through to the end. This part reads "New" until there are five.
A complete profile
How much of its profile and setup is finished.
What customers said
The average from ratings with a basis, with the count, once five people have rated.
How it felt
The feeling customers chose most, once five have chosen one. It's shown for a business or brand, never about a person.
Its time on Swomi
The month it joined, and after a sale, the month the new owner took over.
The first check
"Account complete": its email and phone are confirmed, and its profile is complete.
The business check
"Business verified": we confirmed that it controls the business.
The ID check
"Identity verified": its owner passed an ID check.

The same made-up business, drawn twice. With a blank, nothing is shown: it looks fine and tells you nothing. With the Reputation Badge, it reads “email only · new · nothing completed yet”: it says what is missing, in words.

Lupe’s Taqueria: Business verified, it controls the business. Dee’s Kitchen: Identity verified, its owner passed an ID check. Rae’s Studio: Identity verified, checked by our payment provider for payouts, shown because Rae said yes at payout setup. Each check shows only once it’s done.

How ratings work

Only a person aged 18 or over with a recorded reason to rate can rate on Swomi. We call that reason a basis. It can be a verified dealing, a ticket from a real sale, a coupon they redeemed, or, for a creator, a verified place in their audience. Each person holds one current rating of each business, and a later visit updates it as a new, dated version.

A sample ratings page for a made-up restaurant. An AI summary of what customers say, labelled as AI: customers mention quick service and fair prices, and some mention a wait at lunch. It is drawn from ratings with a basis, and each theme opens the ratings behind it. Each rating shows its basis, such as a verified purchase or a ticket from a sale, and its tags; the business replied to one. A business can reply, but it can’t edit, hide or remove a rating.

Sample. Made-up ratings, summarised by AI.
  • What a rating holds

Stars from one to five and, if you like, how it felt, up to three tags such as "on time", and your own words.

  • Never bought

Swomi never pays for a rating. Your discount is the same whether you rate or not, and whatever you write.

  • Bad ratings stay up

No rating is removed for being negative. A business can reply, but it can't edit, hide or remove one.

  • It shows how it came

Each rating says how its rater came to give it, such as "Redeemed a creator's discount".

  • People you know first

You see ratings from people you've dealt with first, then from creators you follow, then from everyone else with a basis.

  • The tags people choose

The factual tags customers choose most, such as "on time", show on the ratings page.

  • Who never rates

Owners, staff and relatives never rate their own business. Neither do creators who carry its coupon, or any AI.

  • Your words stay yours

A review you write is kept in your store, your own knowledge base, and you can edit or withdraw it at any time.

A summary of what customers say

Like the largest review sites, Swomi may use AI to summarise and sort the words in ratings. That helps a business see what its customers mention, and it helps us check reports more quickly. Where a summary appears, it is labelled as an AI summary, it is drawn only from ratings with a basis, and every rating behind it stays one tap away. No review is ever written in a customer's voice, and no person is ever scored.

How the Badge works

The method is published, versioned and the same for everyone. A business's average rating appears once at least five people have rated it, always with the count, and older experiences count for less. When ratings put a list in order, we use a careful lower estimate. That way, three perfect ratings never outrank three hundred excellent ones, and a new business is never pushed down for being new.

  • A sale starts it fresh. If a business is sold, its Badge starts again under the new owner. The old one stays visible as its history.
  • Ordered lists say so. Wherever a list is ordered by rating, the page says so and links to this method.

A worked example from our method. Three ratings, all five stars: the average is 5.0, but the careful lower estimate that orders lists is about 2.9. Three hundred ratings averaging 4.7: the lower estimate is about 4.6. So three perfect ratings never outrank three hundred excellent ones, and a new business is never pushed down for being new.

Worked example from our method.

Think we got it wrong?

A person, not a machine, decides every report, removal and contest. Anyone can report a rating that breaks the rules, and when a rating is removed, its writer gets the reasons and can appeal within six months. A business or creator can contest how its Badge was worked out, or its place in a list, within 30 days.

Pay-to-remove is banned. A demand for money to remove or change a rating is itself a breach. Report it, and the account that made it is suspended.

Ask about a Badge or rating

What Swomi TrustCenter never does

  • Blank spaces

Every gap is shown in words, never left blank.

  • Claims you make yourself

Nothing on a Badge comes from what its subject says about itself.

  • Gates

A Badge never unlocks or blocks anything. Ratings never decide what you can join.

  • Ratings with no basis

No one rates without a real dealing, and no one under 18 rates.

  • Bought or buried ratings

No rating is ever bought. None is removed for being negative.

  • Calls left to a machine

A person, not a machine, decides each report and contest.

  • Warnings sent outside

A warning stays inside Swomi TrustCenter. We never send one by email or text.

  • Fake reviews

AI never writes a review in a customer's voice.

What people ask

What is the Reputation Badge?

The Reputation Badge is part of Swomi TrustCenter. It shows who a business or creator is, the dealings it has completed, how complete its profile is and, once five people have rated, what its customers say. Anything that isn't there yet is plainly stated, never left blank. The Badge is earned, never bought, its method is published, and it doesn't unlock or block anything on Swomi.

Who can rate a business?

Only people aged 18 or over who had a real dealing with the business can rate it, such as a completed sale or a ticket from a purchase. Owners, staff and relatives can never rate it. Nobody is paid for a rating, and an average appears only once five people have rated, always displayed with the count.

What if I think my Badge is wrong?

Contest it within 30 days, and a person will review how it was worked out and then decide. A person, not a machine, also decides every report about a rating and every removal. Anyone whose rating is removed gets the reasons and can appeal.

Do you use AI on reviews?

Yes, in a limited way, as the largest review sites do. AI may summarise and sort what ratings say, to help a business see what its customers mention and to help us check reports. Any summary is labelled as an AI summary, is drawn only from ratings with a basis, and keeps each rating behind it one tap away. AI never writes a review in a customer's voice, and no person is ever scored.

Is Swomi TrustCenter free?

Yes. Its main features are free for adults with a Swomi account. They include breach alerts, the scam check, help leaving people-search sites, communities, and the Reputation Badge with its ratings. More protection, paid with cycles, will come later, and every price will be published before you pay.
